Meet Gosia

Hello, and welcome! My name is Gosia, and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Cracow. From a young age, I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and it felt like a natural path to pursue veterinary medicine. It was the perfect way to blend my passion with a meaningful career, and so I stayed in Cracow to study and build the foundation for my dreams.

After graduation, I took a bold step and moved to the UK, where I’ve made Bournemouth my home. Now, I share this life with my wonderful partner and our ever-growing family of seven pets. Yes, you read that right—seven! Our beloved pets include guinea pigs Fuji, Sammy, and Mistle; cats Barney, Niunia, and Tygrys; and our newest family member, a sweet rabbit named Bunbee.

As much as I love spending time with them, I’m also someone who’s always on the go. I have a variety of hobbies that keep me busy, from pole dancing and mushrooming to gardening, arts and crafts, hitting the gym, surfing, reading, and photography. It’s safe to say that I never quite run out of ideas, and it’s a rare day that I don’t have something new I want to dive into.

But it’s not all just about the fun. I carry with me the memories of our two beloved guinea pigs, Baby Vesemir and David the Guinea Pig, who are no longer with us. They will forever have a special place in my heart, and I’ll always miss them dearly.

With each passing day, I’m grateful for my journey, the people I meet, and the love that fills my life. And now, as I embark on this new chapter with my partner, I’m filled with joy and excitement for the future we’ll create together.

Meet Chris

Hi, I’m Chris! I was born and raised in Hanau, the hometown of the Brothers Grimm. I've always been a bit of a science nerd, which naturally led me to pursue a career in medicine. I completed my medical studies in Kraków, where I made lifelong friendships and grew a lot as a person.

After finishing my degree, I moved to the UK to start working as a foundation doctor. I spent my first two years in Hull and Scunthorpe—maybe not the most glamorous places, but certainly full of character and experience.

I then moved to the South Coast for my Specialty Training, spending a year in Portsmouth before settling in Southampton. After Gosia moved in with me, we stayed in Southampton a little longer before moving to a larger place in Bournemouth. A few years later, we bought our first home together.

These days, I enjoy spending time with Gosia and our collection of pets. We love traveling—whether it’s exploring different parts of the UK, Europe, or heading further afield. In my downtime, I’m usually gaming, reading, or just unwinding.

Meeting Gosia changed my life in ways I never expected, and I couldn't be happier with the life we're building together.

Our Relationship

We often wonder—was it pure chance, or maybe fate? Our story began when Chris visited Cracow for his brother’s bachelor party. A simple connection on an app quickly turned into something we couldn’t ignore. From the first message, it felt easy and natural, like we’d known each other for years. That very same day, we met in person—even though Chris was flying back to the UK the next morning. Those few hours felt like minutes, and once he left, we couldn’t stop texting.

A few weeks later, Chris came back to see Gosia, and we spent even more time together. It didn’t take long before we both knew we didn’t want to be apart. By the end of April, we’d already shared countless laughs and late-night conversations—and then, out of the blue, Chris invited Gosia to his brother’s wedding in June. It might have seemed crazy—we’d only known each other for a little over a month—but something told us both it was worth the risk. And it absolutely was. The wedding was beautiful, and it gave us a glimpse of just how strong our connection could be.

Despite the distance between Poland and the UK, we stayed close, visiting each other whenever we could. Every trip, every reunion, only made us more certain we were building something special. When Gosia graduated, it was finally time for a new chapter—and together, we started our life in UK.

Since then, we’ve built a home full of love, laughter, and the joyful chaos of our seven pets. Life with us is never boring—and every moment shared feels like a little adventure of its own.

Now, as we look ahead to our wedding day, we’re filled with gratitude for how far we’ve come. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait for all the memories, adventures, and challenges we’ll face together.

Here’s to forever, side by side, through everything life throws our way.
